TORONTO, June 8, 2011/CNW/ – Knightsbridge Human Capital Solutions has reached an agreement in principal to acquire iPal Interactive Learning Inc. of Ottawa, an innovative company that has brought a more advanced methodology for developing effective, interactive and engaging e-learning courses to the learning industry. The deal is expected to close by the end of June 2011.
The acquisition of iPal will position Knightsbridge to better deliver against increasing customer demand for higher quality e-learning programs which enable organizations to train employees more effectively and efficiently. iPal’s unique capability in developing interactive, engaging e-learning courses will help accelerate the launch of Knightsbridge’s MICA Learning business which focuses on leadership and people management skills training, as well as supporting its Leadership Solutions practice in the implementation of customized leadership development programs.
A September 2010 study by Global Industry Analysts estimates that the e-learning market in 2010 is expected to be $52.6 billion globally, up from $27.1 billion in 2009 and it is forecast to reach $107.3 billion by 2015.

Brad Loiselle, President of iPal. “We want to ensure that we continue to provide innovative e-learning solutions to our clients.” Loiselle added. “We are always looking for ways to advance our customer’s efficiencies and providing access to iPal’s unique e-learning methodologies will save customers money, time and create better learning results.”
“Acquiring and applying iPal’s market leading e-learning course delivery methodology in addition to MICA Learning’s renowned instructor led programs, will put Knightsbridge on the forefront of the delivery of competency and skills development solutions for our customers” said David Shaw, Founder and CEO of Knightsbridge.” “iPal will also support Knightsbridge’s Leadership Solution Consulting practice by enabling them to deliver large scale change initiatives and leadership development programs more efficiently and cost
effectively throughout their organizations”, concluded Shaw.

Brad Loiselle, will continue on as Managing Director of iPal, a division of Knightsbridge, and will focus his effort on continuing to advance the growth of e-learning.
